Howdy. I am about 5 years old (est BD Jun xxxx) and am looking for a new home. My foster mom says I am pretty typical for a Dachshund. I do take a little time to warm up to some people, but usually a cookie or two will start forging a bond. I have been on a strict diet (my FM has be STARVING ME!!) but I am now a handsome, slim trim boy. I just need to make sure that whoever adopts me will make sure that I stick to my eating plan. The picture with me standing in the grass is when I was pigging out. After looking at the comparison it was all worth it! I get along with the dogs in my household and I used to live with a cat so am fine with them as well. I follow my FM around the house and, when she sits down I like to sit close with my head in her lap (and with this cold weather I LOVE it when mom covers me up with a snuggly blanket) . My activity level is moderate to low - frankly I am pretty much a coach potato.
